Coloring on Photoshop is fun!

So, some days ago I was checking some stuff on Street Fighter and stumbed into a website dedicated to one of the game’s characters, Cammy White. I went to look to the official art and then to the sketches, and saw a really cool one:

But, of course, it isn’t colored, and I was looking for colored images. So, what did I think of?
Of trying to color it myself.

Well, I’d tried to color stuff before, but it always looked awful. Yet, I had some free time and wanted to give it a try – if it worked, then I could color my own sketches and create artwork for comics and stories.
So, I picked Photoshop, and got an image of Cammy from the site to get the right colors (see it here). It took me fourty-five minutes, but I managed to make this:

I don’t mean to brag, but I think it looks awesome. I used no tutorial whatsoever, I just experimented and quickly found a way of making it look good. It looks professional, which is fantastic. Here’s a comparision of the image before and after coloring.

A special thanks, and of course credits, to CammyFan.com for making me discover that I can color stuff on Photoshop.
Please, do leave comments on how it looks!

EDIT: I just made another one. It’s far from perfect, but if I try to make it perfect I’ll eventually get too bored and leave it unfinished. Here’s the comparision, and here are the colors.

Lack of updates

I’ve been too bored to work on MIA and to update the blog. Sorry about that.
I hope I’ll get motivation to work on both soon. The “ORIENTATION” page feels a bit empty…
